According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, over 25 million adult Americans experience temporary or chronic urinary incontinence. Nearly 18 million adults in the US have fecal, or bowel, incontinence. Both conditions can be very upsetting and embarrassing. And while incontinence generally affects older people, it can strike at any time. The good news, however, is that incontinence is treatable.
